Responsibilities will range from audit and assurance services to tax return preparation. All employees have the opportunity to diversify their skills and specialize in all of the areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greeting visitors, answering a high-volume of incoming phone calls and delivering world-class service to our customers.
- Maintaining general office files, tax return forms, filing, faxing, scanning, typing basic correspondence, etc.
- Receive incoming tax documents for clients and organizing them for the office accountant
- Coordinating appointments and meetings and managing staff calendars and schedules. The calendar can be very busy during tax season and you must be naturally organized.
The position also assists with performing bookkeeping tasks such as light accounting duties that may include Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, P/L, Balance Sheet reports and running office errands to include bank deposits and Costco runs.
RELEVANT QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a candidate with a quality service mindset that is enthusiastic and enjoys working as a part of a team. An ideal candidate:
- Proficient in a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience processing payments, invoices, and paying office bills in QuickBooks.
- Comfortable handling confidential information.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, Type no less than 35 wpm.
- Professional and friendly with clear grammar over the phone and in person, comfortable working with the general public, ideally have an interest in accounting or finance.

- 1-2 Years previous employment in an office environment
- Valid driver’s license with vehicle and insurance
HOURS AND COMPENSATION
